The simplest and best way is to do something totally different.
Sorry if that sounds a cop-out, but it’s the truth.
Dubai is an employer’s market at present, already many companies are contracting, laying off and in (some cases) letting staff go to then re-hire at a fraction of the salary.
In the meantime, there’s already a ready-made pool of people already in Dubai actively looking for work, or in work and ready to jump at a moment’s notice.
Think of it like this.
You’re in a nightclub. You see a hot girl. So does everyone that’s better looking, richer, sexier, a better dancer, more generous in buying her drinks etc. that are all vying for her attention also. So how do you get her?
The answer - you do something different. Don’t you think she knows all of the above will always crowd, bustle and squabble to get near her? There’s no challenge, no value in that.
Be the guy that does something different. The guy that shows he can think and act opposite to the rest.
Take that mindset into the job market….
Look at Linked In , look at those lazy-ass losers that post spurious ‘jobs’ such as “5000 jobs in Dubai, leave a like or comment below” - only then to sell on your data or other dubious acts.
Don’t be that guy that adds a like to the 17,236 other people, and then wonder why he never heard anything.
Be that guy that sends a message direct to the person, be that guy that finds a different route to that person, be that guy that sends a compelling communication to him that makes him respond, even to say ‘sorry dude, there’s no jobs - it’s just my mate is paying me data mine’.
Whatever you do, be different.
Be that guy that invests in himself, sets up a website and hosting account and blogs about himself, lists his portfolios, feedback from previous clients etc.
Look through Quora, see how many times guys keep asking the same questions that have already been answered, rather than researching and reading thoroughly.
Understand that some guys can happily send thousands of messages, reply to thousands of emails, send thousands of cv applications to numerous recruiters, but then ask yourself this.
